Generation HK Empowers 1,000 Young Hongkongers with AOF Support

Since its establishment in 2018, Generation Hong Kong has been dedicated to empowering young individuals with job opportunities and facilitating their transition into the workforce of tomorrow.

By bridging the gap between education and employment, Generation offers targeted trning in high-demand professional skills that pave the way for promising careers that might otherwise be out of reach.

Established by McKinsey Company, an international consultancy firm, Generation is a non-profit organization committed to transforming young people's lives through meaningful career opportunities.

Over the past six years, the Hong Kong branch alone has significantly impacted nearly 1,000 young individuals' trajectories toward economic stability and self-empowerment.

With the generous support of the Apollo Opportunity Foundation AOF, which was established in New York City in 2022 with a US$100 million commitment from Apollo Global Management for global investments in career education, workforce development, and economic empowerment initiatives, Generation Hong Kong achieve three primary objectives:

1. Accelerate young individuals' access to career opportunities by providing comprehensive trning programs that align with industry needs.

2. Foster the development of essential skills necessary for success in various professional roles, facilitating a smoother transition into employment.

3. Empower disadvantaged youth with pathways to economic mobility and opportunities that can significantly impact their future prospects.

Funds from AOF's grant will be strategically allocated to support these initiatives, furthering Generation Hong Kong's mission to create lasting change in the lives of young people through empowering them for future success.
